Ole Magnus Salberg has 10 years of experience as an offshore decommissioning contractor and joined Calmocean as Head of Production & QA from 15th June 2023. The last 4 years Ole has been working within ship and offshore recycling worldwide. Ole’s extensive expertise in offshore decommissioning and ship recycling makes him a very valuable addition to the team.
Salberg graduated from NTNU as Marine engineer in 2011. His background as a mechanic gave him the opportunity to work offshore alongside his studies. After graduation, he started as an offshore decom contractor. He was involved in all stages of topside and jacket removal and rig decommissioning including tender processes, planning, engineering and managing the work offshore and onshore. Ole also have extensive experience within training, supervision, audits and quality assurance.
