Four stages, whatever the asset
Recycling, decommissioning, a newbuilding survey or an IHM: the sequence is the same, and each stage leaves you with a document you can put in front of a regulator or a board.

Assess
Yard assessments, due diligence and hazardous-material surveys — we establish what is actually true before anyone signs anything.
- 02
Plan
Regulatory route, tender documents, contracts with pre-approved yards, and the schedule. The plan is written to be checked against later.
- 03
Supervise
Our own people on site for the duration, with ESG-focused daily and weekly reporting to you through the Calmocean Portal — as it happens, not summarized at the end.
- 04
Report
A completion report and every filing the regulations require, in a form your auditors, financiers and stakeholders can use directly.

A significant amount of ‘too-early-to-recycle’ assets can be converted, partly or entirely, for a new life in different shipping and offshore segments. Backed by our industry-leading network of asset owners, naval architects and yards, we want to scale up the possibility that exists in re-use and conversion projects. Where phase-out is required, we deliver what is considered the industry-leading expert recycling advisory service.
